Info Session
We will hold an online info session on Thursday, April 16th, at 6pm. This info session is intended for students and parents who are new to ARML.

This info session will be recorded and made available online.
Tryouts
While everyone who’s interested in ARML is able to participate, we will select multiple elite teams of top students who will be ranked against the top teams from other regions. To select these teams, we will hold four online tryout opportunities. We will additionally consider ARML Local on April 19th to be a tryout as well, and scores from this in-person event will be weighed more heavily during team selection. While attending tryouts is not required, we highly encourage attending at least two of these five tryouts for anyone interested in being selected for an elite team. Even if you aren’t interested in elite team selection, we still recommend attending tryouts for extra practice!
Practices
We will have three in-person Bay Area practices this year, during weekends in May. Practice attendance is highly recommended for everyone and required for students on elite teams.
If you really need to miss a practice, get that absence excused by filling out the Practice Absence Form.
Sacramento Area
There are also independent weekly practices for students from the Sacramento area.
If you’re participating in ARML from the Sacramento area, visit our Sacramento page or contact sacramento@sfbanorcalarml.org for more information. Sacramento area students are not required to attend Bay Area practices.

- This session will be held in partnership with AlphaStar and with the financial support of Jane Street.
- If you are already participating in ARML Local at UC Davis or with another organization, please do not attend this session.

- Location: Online. The tryout will be posted on registered students’ ContestDojo accounts at 4pm. Students should start no later than 4:10pm in order to have the full allotted time. Unregistered students who want to participate should email info@sfbanorcalarml.org ahead of time with a ContestDojo student account email address in order to request guest access.
- Tryout 2: April 28 (Tuesday), 6pm-7pm, online
- Location: Online. The tryout will be posted on registered students’ ContestDojo accounts at 6pm. Students should start no later than 6:10pm in order to have the full allotted time.
